  • Details
Our one-of-a-kind wooden postcard series highlight some of Detroit’s most iconic landmarks. This 26-foot bronze structure located outside of the Coleman A Young Municipal Building was originally commissioned in 1955 for the price of $58,000. The reclaimed wood that this image is printed on is the perfect way to display this statue. The large size is 8 ¾ x 6 and the small version is 5 x 3 ½ .

All of our products are handcrafted from wood that has already served a lifetime of use and each piece comes with an address indicating where the materials were sourced from.

The wood used to make this postcard was properly deconstructed from the former manufacturing warehouse was located at 421 Chene in Detroit’s East River Front District. It was built in 1882 and was a flaking mill for the Lauhoff Corporation which specialized in the production of breakfast cereals.
